SVA Film & Animation
FACULTY: Gayle Greene

Actor, Director

I started teaching in the Film Department of SVA in February 1994 and have the pleasure of teaching the gifted and motivated students who come to this supportive and nurturing environment to learn not merely a craft, but also to find themselves as truly creative beings.

My goal is to have students understand film acting from the “inside/out” through acting exercises, improvisation, monologue and scene study. What is sought is the specific and personal truth each character tries to tell through each individual experience in our universal struggle to be heard and seen.
