SVA Film & Animation
FACULTY: Mario J. Menjivar

Character Animator and Designer/Illustrator/Art Director

As an animation professional, I’ve led art departments, advised studios and designed consumer products for the entertainment business. Whether as a leader or part of a team, I’m comfortable understanding the needs of departments from the creative to the executive level.

Now, as an instructor, I get to encourage a new generation of young animators to think outside the box and develop their unique strengths as artists. A big part of my training involves educating students to think and prepare as professionals in a studio from day one.
