FACULTY: Miah Artola

Editor/Artist

I have had the privilege of working with notable musicians and artists throughout my editing career.

Initially a painter, I now incorporate new media into my work, creating audio and motion activated installation combined with fine artworks. I am also a software creator: Audio Peak Etcher (APE), which generates sound responsive visuals for live video performance. I am dedicated to exploring the power and artistry of editing with the students at SVA and so thrilled to be part of this excellent faculty.
