FACULTY: Terri Barbagallo

Editor, Producer

Terri has been an editor for more than 20 years, having honed her craft using virtually every kind of film and video editing system, as well as computer and non-linear editing systems in SD and HD. Her versatile career includes editing documentaries, television programs, promos, movie trailers and commercials.

From sports to music to travel to history to cooking to news, Terri has edited in many genres featured on TV and the Internet. Primarily a storyteller, she is well known for weaving sound and picture, editing with her keen sense of music, incorporating her sense of humor as well as her dedication to the truth on serious subjects. Most recently Terri has added directing to her tool kit. As an editor for many years, she is able to conduct interviews and make choices in the field while shooting to streamline postproduction. Now as a teacher, she hopes to guide students in their discovery of how to connect with their artistry and effectively tell their stories.
